How to Text Using Apple CarPlay on the All-New 2017 Jeep Compass

If you’ve never seen how Apple CarPlay works, then this video will show you one of the most popular features.

Apple CarPlay (and Android Auto) is available on the All-New 2017 Jeep Compass .

With this feature you can text message using the message app on your iPhone, access your favorite iPhone apps, and even use the GPS on your phone to navigate all using the large display screen on your Jeep Compass.

Simply plug-in your phone using the same cord you use to charge and update your iPhone.

Press the “Message” icon on the screen of the Jeep Compass .

Then say your message out loud and confirm you want to send.

That’s all it takes to quickly and easily send a voice text message using Apple CarPlay.  For those of you with Android Phones the same process applies and you can access many of the apps directly from your phone.
